Santiago Language School - Chile

Set up in 1990, the school consists of 17 classrooms, all with DVD players & televisions, and also comfortable air conditioning. Internet access is free to all students. All the school’s teachers are native speakers and have university degrees, and having received extensive education to meet the school’s strict requirements, and ensuring that the students receive the highest quality tuition possible.

The Language Classes

Each class runs for four hours a day based in intimate small groups for the most effecting results. You will be amazed at how quickly you start speaking Spanish! Teaching methods are intended to make students secure practicing the new language in daily situations, such as travelling around on buses, meeting people having conversations with them!

Prior to starting the classes, you sit a brief assessment to find out your level of Spanish. After this, you will be sorted into groups, according to the results of your test, making sure your fellow class-mates are of similar ability!

Project Location

Santiago possesses an assortment of European architecture, beautiful parks, shopping and a nightlife that simply doesn’t know when to end! The school has excellent bus, train and underground connections to the city.

Accommodation & Meals

By living with a host family, you will find you further your language learning extensively outside the classroom! Our host families are situated in attractive and safe areas and are close friends of the language school. You will have your own room, normally with a shared bathroom. Two or three daily meals will be provided, depending on the family you are staying with. Students will be given a key to the front door and are allowed to come and go as they wish.
