Community Outreach Volunteer in Brazil

Brazil provides backpackers with an array of traveling options – from straight-forward vacation to volunteer work on a social community program.  Travelers come to Brazil from all over the world to participate in volunteer work as part of their working vacation, year out or career break. This particular program places the street children of Brazil in homes where it will be your responsibility to help them learn the skills necessary to integrate into society through social rehabilitation. The Volunteer Programme This program works hand in hand with the non-governmental organization of Brazil to get deprived children off the streets and to feed and shelter them.  Volunteers also teach the children skills and educate them on hygiene, human rights etc. The children benefit from two homes.  The first provides food, bathroom facilities and shelter and the second trains the children in a profession while they work. The organization is always open to ideas and welcomes any suggestion volunteers may have to develop their work and achieve their goals.     Programme Overview Duration and Prices:   2 wks volunteer - $1779/€1349 (subject to language level) 4 wks language tuition and volunteering (combined) - $3149/€2399 8 wks language tuition and volunteering (combined) - $4999/€3849 How to book & pay: Secure with $339/€259 deposit.
